I was born in Geneva,Switzerland and raised in Atantic City, New Jersey. After graduating from Holy Spirit High School, I attended Hampton Institute(University) and graduated with a BS in Early Childhood Education. I began my teaching career in Atlantic City as a 3rd grade teacher at West Side School Complex (now MLK, Jr. School Complex).
After 5 years of teaching, I resigned to raise my family. During this time, I attended and graduated from ACC (now ACCC) in Nursing. I worked as a nurse until I returned to the Atlantic City School District at Brighton Ave. School. I received my MEd. in Educational Leadership from Cheyney University of PA. Taught Kindergarten for 5 years and then ESL (English as a Second Language) for 3 years. Was the vice principal for 3 years and the principal for 4 years (at Brighton). We moved from Brighton to Sovereign Ave. School. I am starting my 4th year as principal of Sovereign (8th year as a principal).
I have 2 wonderful sons, Geoffrey and Justin and reside in Atlantic City.
